Latest fishing report
Ash and debris washed in off the burned Forsyth Fire area during fall 2025 and summer 2026, cutting oxygen and water quality, and some fish have died. Fall outlook: catchable rainbows go in once the water cools, around late October to early November; young largemouth and bluegill are still growing.
Burn scar runoff has caused some fish kills, and fishing will stay poor until water quality recovers and fish are restocked.
